چکیده مقاله:

Background: Quality of life is one of the key indicators of mental health, and psychological factors as well as self-care skills play a central role in its enhancement. Considering the limited access to in-person services, shortage of mental health professionals, and demand for cost-effective interventions, virtual group therapy and structured coaching delivered by psychiatric nurses may offer an innovative and scalable approach for improving mental health outcomes. Objective: This protocol aims to design and implement an online psychoeducational group therapy program combined with follow-up coaching, and to evaluate its effect on participants’ quality of life. Methods: This study used randomized intervention with a control group design. The intervention consists of ۱۵ virtual sessions delivered over four weeks via Google Meet and includes emotional processing, resilience training, self-care, psychoeducation, and group support. A four-week follow-up coaching phase will be implemented after completion of the core sessions. Quality of life will be assessed as the primary outcome using validated instruments. Expected Outcomes: The intervention is expected to improve quality of life, increase self-efficacy, and strengthen self-care abilities. Additionally, this protocol may provide a practical model for expanding digital therapeutic and educational services and support the development of professional entrepreneurial opportunities within psychiatric nursing.
