Some Cognate words in Persian and English Langauges

This paper deals with the study of applied words with semantic, structural and phonetic similarities of Persian and English languages and has collected a glossary in alphabetical order that has cognates (similar meaning, spelling, and pronunciation) in Common and as far as possible has found their roots and written translation and interpretation on them. The words have Indo-European roots or derived from other Indo-European languages. The important thing to the author is the words that currently are using by both speakers of two languages. There are some words that are in common between English and Lorish, Lakish and Kurdish languages (Iranian west languages) only. The purpose of this similarities gathering is compiling some words that gives the possibility to the learners of both languages to learn easily and rapidly with little analogy and these common words could motivate them in their learning processes.
