The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education Transformation Enhancing Learning Environments, Improving Teaching Methods, and Innovating Evaluation

This review article examines the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on higher education transformations and the changes it has introduced in teaching, learning, and assessment methods in universities. AI, through machine learning algorithms, natural language processing (NLP), and intelligent systems, has addressed many existing challenges in education while enhancing the efficiency of teaching and learning. The primary objective of this study is to explore the role of AI in improving learning environments, developing innovative teaching methods, and enhancing student performance assessment. By analyzing and comparing previous studies, this article identifies the current applications of AI in education and examines the challenges and opportunities associated with these technologies. The findings indicate that AI, with features such as personalized learning, more accurate assessments, and rapid feedback, can enhance the learning experience and drive transformations in educational systems. Additionally, recommendations are provided for policymakers and universities to effectively integrate these technologies into educational programs.
