Behavior of dust particles in static electric fields is significant in industrial processes, space travel, and environmental management. Information about the behavior of dust particles when they are charged and actuated by electrostatic forces may be valuable for dust control, transportation efficiency, and contamination prevention. Repulsion of charged dust particles in an even created static electric field is examined here for significant parameters such as particle diameter, electric field strength, and initial charge pattern. We conducted controlled lab experiments to observe particle dispersion and augmented these findings with theoretical modeling from Coulombic interactions. Analysis examines the impact of electrostatic repulsion on dust dynamics and identifies threshold conditions for efficient particle displacement. The results reveal strong correlation between field strength and repulsion efficiency with increasing field intensities resulting in more severe dust dispersion. These findings serve as the basis for cleanroom technology application, planetary dust control, and electrostatic air filtering systems. Outcomes will serve to plan for electrostatic space exploration dust shields and better industrial dust control methodology. Expansion to microgravity and industrial scale dust control will continue in future work, developing more electrostatic manipulation techniques to more efficiently use various environments.
