چکیده مقاله:
The purpose of this study is to experimentally investigate the effect of using phase change material on heat transfer in pool boiling. For this experiment, paraffin wax with a melting point of ۶۲°C was used. The working fluid used in this test was methanol. In this study, the thermo-physical properties of paraffin and the fluid were first determined by experiments, and then the behavior of paraffin in the boiling fluid was investigated. The results indicated that as the mass of paraffin increases from ۲۰ to ۵۰ grams, the heat transfer rate at the beginning of the experiment improves.
