چکیده مقاله:

This study focuses on the design and hydraulic modeling of the water supply network in Gatab, Babol County. The water consumption and firefighting requirements for Gatab City have been estimated at ۳۸ liters per second over the next ۲۰ years. The analysis employs PipeFlow software to evaluate flow velocities, determine optimal pipe diameters, and calculate the required tank height. The results indicate that the tank height for stainless steel pipes is ۳۷.۸۱۱ meters. Furthermore, the study reveals that HDPE pipes yield the lowest friction loss, reducing the tank height to ۳۶.۲۳ meters, while using cast iron pipes increases the tank height to ۴۹.۱ meters. An economic analysis shows that HDPE pipes are the most cost-effective option, whereas cast iron pipes demonstrate the weakest economic performance. Overall, this research provides critical insights into the hydraulic and economic implications of different pipe materials in the design of efficient water supply systems, contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure in rural areas.
