The Rhetorical Attempts of Muhyiddin Darwish in the Book of "Diacritic of Holy Quran and its Explanation"

Muhyiddin Darwish was one of the scholars of Quranic science and literature who paid a great attention to the science of rhetoric as he was able to interpret the verses of the Holy Quran by mentioning the details of rhetorical methods. He expressed the purposes and types of narration with focus on rhetorical science and indicated the cases that the narration deviates from the requirements of appearance. Also discussed about Musnad and Musnad Aliyah (reflexive pronoun) with its rhetorical advantages and indicated some synthetic methods such as command, prohibition, and interrogation. In addition, he expressed the themes of separation, connection, brevity, deputation and equality in different cases. He discussed about metaphor while interpreting verses of Holy Quran and focusing on many types of similes. Moreover, he explained about metonym and imagery with their affinities.
