The Principles of Preventive Defense in the Holy Quran and Their Role in Deterring Military Threats

Certainly, preventive defense is one of the best strategic policies for preventing enemy military threats, which is achieved by implementing a series of principles. Discovering and extracting these principles from Quranic instructions is a new initiative and is considered an urgent necessity. Therefore, the main goal of this research is to extract the principles of preventive defense from Quranic educations and its deterrent role in confronting military threats. The research method is descriptive-analytical using the method of analyzing the resolutions of verses and relying on library resources. The results show that the Holy Quran refers to the principles of preventive defense in numerous verses and that these principles play a vital role as a process for military deterrence. Thus, first, according to the principle of concealment, the enemy attempts to keep special centers from being seen, and if they are seen, they attempt to remain unidentified by using the principle of concealment and trick. If identified, it is untargetable due to the principle of location, and assuming that if it is targeted, it must be invulnerable by relying on the principles of flexibility, dispersion, and notification, and in the event of vulnerability, it must be able to be quickly rebuilt, revived, and resume activity, according to the principles of crisis management.Certainly, preventive defense is one of the best strategic policies for preventing enemy military threats, which is achieved by implementing a series of principles.
