چکیده مقاله:

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the most common type of pancreatic cancer and has an extremely low ۵-year survival rate of less than ۱۰%, making it one of the deadliest solid tumors. To improve our understanding of the genesis and progression of this devastating disease, novel laboratory approaches have been developed. In this review, we provide a comprehensive summary of the current in vitro and in vivo models of PDAC, including established murine and human PDAC cell lines, organoids, and genetically engineered models. In addition, we compare these models and analyze published in vitro and in vivo PDAC models to elucidate the molecular basis of pancreatic carcinogenesis.Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the most common type of pancreatic cancer and has an extremely low ۵-year survival rate of less than ۱۰%, making it one of the deadliest solid tumors.
