Optimization of Urban Sports Resources and Equipment Management with a Sustainable Development Approach

Efficient management of urban sports resources and equipment is a key factor in enhancing citizen sports participation and achieving sustainable development. In many cities, inefficient allocation of financial, human, and equipment resources leads to increased costs and reduced productivity of sports facilities. This study aims to examine and propose optimization models for managing urban sports resources and equipment. The research was designed as an applied, descriptive-analytical study, and data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with sports managers. The results indicate that the use of optimization models, such as linear programming and Monte Carlo simulation, can increase efficiency, reduce resource wastage, and improve the quality of urban sports services.
