Analyzing Citizen Participation Data in Urban Sports Activities with a Sustainable Development Approach

Citizen participation is a key factor in the success of urban sports programs and the promotion of sustainable urban development. This study analyzes participation patterns using statistical and data analytics methods to identify factors influencing engagement and long-term sustainability of sports initiatives. Data were collected from surveys, municipal records, and digital tracking of sports program attendance. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and cluster analysis were used to explore participation trends. Results reveal that age, gender, accessibility, and awareness of sustainability programs significantly influence participation. The study provides recommendations for urban planners and sports managers to optimize participation and align urban sports activities with sustainable development goals.
