Predictive factors in patients with myocardial infarction with and without ECG changes in hospitals of Qom University of Medical Sciences

Introduction: Given the importance of time in heart attacks, timely diagnosis is of particular importance. Awareness of important factors in the diagnosis of this disease, which is also accompanied by many complications, is an important step in rapid and accurate diagnosis with the aim of helping to maintain the golden time to start treating these patients. Therefore, this study investigated predictive factors in patients with myocardial infarction with and without ECG changes in hospitals of Qom University of Medical Sciences. Methods: This study was conducted using a retrospective descriptive analytical method. A total of ۴۰۶ patient files with myocardial infarction with and without ECG changes were selected from Shahid Beheshti Hospital in Qom using a sequential census method. The data collection tool included a checklist designed by the research team. SPSS version ۲۶ software was used for descriptive and analytical statistics to analyze the data. Findings: In this study, more men than women were observed in both groups of patients with myocardial infarction. In the group of myocardial infarctions with ECG changes, ۷۸.۸% were men and in the group without ECG changes, ۶۲.۲% were men.
