چکیده مقاله:
This study aimed to investigate the Challenges in Engineering Education from the perspective of Faculty Members of Tehran Universities. For this purpose, after the study of contemporary research findings, obstacles to the Engineering Education were divided in four groups of outdated curriculum, lack of diversity, evolving technology, professional development and for each of these components were determined. In order to assess the Challenges, a researcher-made questionnaire was designed. The questionnaire was with ۴۵ questions using a Likert scale. Its validity was confirmed through content validity and its reliability through Cornbrash's alpha (۹۴/۰ = /). After determining the sample size using Morgan table by simple random sampling, questionnaires were distributed to managers. To analyze the data, SPSS and LISREL soft wares were employed. Results indicate that among the identified factors, the most important and influential hinder to the Engineering Education was related to outdated curriculum.
