The Impact of Primary School Teachers' Familiarity with Learning Theories and the Use of Technology on Improving Teaching Practices

Familiarity of primary school teachers with various learning theories and the use of modern educational technologies plays a crucial role in enhancing teaching quality and student academic progress. A teacher who has a better understanding of learning principles and the needs of learners can choose teaching methods that are more aligned with those needs, creating a more active, engaging, and creative learning environment. This study examines the role of primary school teachers' familiarity with learning theories and the integration of educational technology in improving teaching methods. The study's sample consists of ۴۹ primary school teachers from District ۴ of the Education Department in Qom during the ۲۰۲۴–۲۰۲۵ academic year, who were surveyed using a researcher-designed questionnaire. The results revealed that teachers' familiarity with learning theories and the use of technology in teaching significantly enhances teaching quality, increases student motivation, and fosters more effective classroom interactions
