Facile Preparation of MnWO۴ Nanoparticles for purifying polluted water

In this study, MnWO۴ nanoparticles were fabricated through a new and simple wet chemistry route. The role of some fabrication factors was checked to reach optimum condition. Findings of this work show that shape and size of the MnWO۴ could be substantially influenced by these factors. The as-synthesized MnWO۴ nanoparticles were characterized with FT-IR, FESEM and XRD. According to the obtained findings, it was found that with the help of this new route can be produced homogeneous MnWO۴ nanoparticles. The photocatalyst activity of as-synthesized MnWO۴ nanoparticles was also checked by degradation of the organic contaminant under visible light.
