چکیده مقاله:

In the past, it was common to use natural substances to control bleeding and heal wounds. This study was designed to investigate the use of date palm ash in stopping bleeding and also to evaluate the regenerative power of royal jelly. In this experimental study, ۴۰ New Zealand White rabbits were randomly divided into ۵ groups including control group, olive oil and palm leaf powder treatment group, palm leaf ash with royal jelly treatment group, palm leaf ash treatment group, and tetracycline ointment treatment group. After anesthesia, a ۵ mm diameter experimental wound was made on the right leg and ear using a scalpel, and the time to stop bleeding was measured. The degree of wound healing was assessed on days ۷ and ۱۴. Treatment with olive oil and date leaf powder had no significant effect on reducing bleeding time, and a relative improvement in wound healing was observed compared to the control group. The combination of date leaf ash with royal jelly resulted in a significant reduction in bleeding time and blood clot formation, and significant wound healing, especially on the fourteenth day, compared to other groups. Date leaf ash caused rapid cessation of bleeding with high healing properties, but was associated with contraction and scar formation. Tetracycline ointment caused wound healing, but was less effective in stopping bleeding. Date leaf ash has high blood clotting properties, and royal jelly has also shown great potential in the wound healing process, so the combination of the two can be a good alternative to common chemical treatments.
