Online classes are becoming increasingly popular due to their flexibility and accessibility. As the number of participants grows, it is essential to enhance the quality of these classes, particularly through the preparation of high-quality digital materials. This study qualitatively explores the unique features and challenges of online teaching materials through semi-structured interviews with ۲۰ participants (۱۰ teachers and ۱۰ learners) who have taught online classes for over three years. Participants provided insights into the differences between online and face-to-face materials and suggested improvements. The findings revealed several essential features of high-quality online materials, including the integration of multimedia, visual appeal, customization, interactivity, and adaptability to online platforms. Challenges include limited technical skills, time constraints, and connectivity issues. Participants also emphasized the role of institutional support in improving material quality. This study underscores the importance of well-designed digital materials in enhancing engagement and learning outcomes in online classes, offering practical recommendations for teachers and educational institutions.
