چکیده مقاله:

Vocabulary is a crucial component in the process of learning English language. There are several ways to improve learners' vocabulary. With the advancement of technology, new approaches in learning English have become popular all over the world. One of them is using online application. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of using the Magoosh Application on enhancing students' vocabulary at Institute of Higher Education (Isfahan Branch) (ACECR). An experimental research design was used in this study. There were ۵۰ participants in this research. They were of both genders. The required data gathered by means of test. Students were given a pre-test before using Magoosh application and a post-test after using it. The finding of this study revealed that Magoosh application has significant effect on improving vocabulary knowledge significantly. Thus, utilization of the Magoosh application for learning vocabulary is recommended to university students. It is also recommended that teachers encourage students to use this application for the process of learning vocabulary.
