چکیده مقاله:
This quantitative study examines the impact of online group activities on the speaking skills of ۱۲th-grade female ESL students. A questionnaire was administered to gather data from a sample group, and the results were analyzed using SPSS to evaluate improvements in speaking proficiency, fluency, and confidence. As online learning continues to gain momentum in modern education, collaborative online activities have emerged as a promising tool to enhance language skills, particularly speaking. While these activities are known to foster interaction and boost learner engagement, there is a limited body of research focusing on their specific effect on speaking skills in ESL learners. This study aims to fill this gap by investigating how online group activities influence speaking development in a secondary school ESL setting. Findings from this research are expected to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of online group activities in language learning, outline key challenges faced by both students and instructors, and offer recommendations for optimizing online learning environments to improve speaking outcomes for ESL students.
