چکیده مقاله:

Background: This study provides a systematic review of the literature investigating the association between noise pollution during early pregnancy and first-trimester abortion. Materials and Methods: The investigation utilized the keywords 'noise pollution during early pregnancy' and 'first-trimester abortion.' Two independent researchers systematically extracted relevant studies from databases including Web of Science, Medline (PubMed), Embase, and Scopus, with a cutoff date of July ۲۰۲۴. After removing duplicates, ۴۷۱ records were identified and screened based on titles, topics, or study populations. A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted on ۶۱۵,۸۳۸ participants, focusing on first-trimester outcomes. The PRISMA guidelines were used to conduct the review, employing the JBI critical appraisal checklist. Data were extracted in Excel and analyzed using STATA ۱۷. Results: The findings indicate a significant association between noise pollution during early pregnancy and first-trimester abortion, with a combined risk ratio of ۱.۴۴ (۹۵% CI = ۱.۰۱ to ۲.۰۶) and an I² value of ۸۱.۶۹%. Conclusions: This study concludes that women who are exposed to noise pollution during early pregnancy face an elevated risk of first-trimester spontaneous abortion. This finding underscores the necessity for further research to investigate the implications of noise pollution on early pregnancy outcomes. Keywords: Noise Pollution, Early Pregnancy, First-Trimester Spontaneous Abortion, Systematic Review, Meta-Analysis
