In this era of rapidly advancing technology, cybersecurity has become one of the most critical issues for organizations, governments, and even individuals. Cybersecurity not only protects our data and systems from cyberattacks, but also ensures the protection of our privacy, financial information, and identity. In the meantime, artificial intelligence (AI) plays a key role in strengthening cybersecurity as a powerful and transformative tool. Machine learning is a branch of artificial intelligence that allows computers to learn patterns from data and make decisions about new issues without direct programming. In machine learning, algorithms automatically learn from input data and use it to predict and analyze new data. With the increase in the number and complexity of cyberattacks, the need for more advanced security solutions is felt more than ever. Machine learning algorithms have become one of the most important tools in combating cyber threats. In this article, we will fully discuss the role and importance of machine learning in network security, its applications, how algorithms work, and the challenges in this area. With the advancement of technology, network security has become more important, and machine learning, as an efficient and powerful tool, helps organizations and businesses protect their data and information from cyber attacks.
