Increased urbanization has led to the creation of densely populated urban areas, which has been accompanied by economic development and an increase in vehicles. This has led to greater demand, one of which is a reduction in the volume of road network traffic and, subsequently, an increase in vehicle speed. Today, noise pollution has become one of the major problems of human societies. More than ۸۰ percent of this pollution is produced by road traffic. Among them, highways have the largest share in producing noise pollution. For this purpose, this article, using modeling in TNM software, examines the effect of applying a demand to reduce the volume of traffic through the roads network and increase the speed of vehicles on the noise level in the city of Qom. The results of this article are that surrounding uses have very little effect on reducing the noise level and applying the proposed demand leads to an increase in the noise level. Also, according to the noise level output of ۱۰۷ receivers used in the software, before and after applying the demand, the noise pollution level of most of the studied points is in the dangerous range, and measures can be taken to reduce the noise pollution level in these points.
