چکیده مقاله:

The application of genetic algorithms in the design of new genes and the innovative regeneration of historical and valuable architectural structures and elements has become increasingly significant and debatable. This article aims to elucidate these novel methods, emphasizing their potential in the fields of architecture and the preservation of monuments and valuable historical infrastructures. The research focuses on extracting a new gene from key alternatives of historical Iranian-Islamic elements and the typology of courtyard houses in the historical city of Yazd. This example is chosen due to its notable characteristics of Iranian art and architecture and the critical need for its preservation, enhancement, and expansion to other parts of the city through an advanced algorithmic method of regeneration. This method enhances the accuracy and efficiency of recognizing architectural features, which is crucial for maintaining the authenticity and integrity of historical sites. This research investigates the impact of genetic algorithms (GAs) on the formal characteristics of architectural design, focusing on aspects such as form generation, structural optimization, environmental performance, and cultural integration.
