چکیده مقاله:

Smart coatings utilizing nanomaterials represent a groundbreaking advancement in flexible electronics and structural health monitoring. This review paper explores the deployment of carbonaceous nanomaterials, transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDS), and MXenes, which are engineered to enhance energy device performance and corrosion resistance. The study details the mechanisms through which these nanomaterials contribute to structural health monitoring (SHM) and electronic skin (E-skin), highlighting essential performance metrics. Furthermore, we investigate the role of viscoelastic polymers at the pore scale, elucidating their interactions with reservoir rock and oil. These polymers exert pulling forces on trapped oil droplets and stabilize oil-in-water emulsions, enabling effective mobilization and flow through narrow pore throats, thereby enhancing oil recovery. Finally, the implications of sustainability and digitalization in the context of smart coatings are discussed, signaling a transformative shift in various industrial applications.
