چکیده مقاله:
There are many stories and legends about geological and geomorphological phenomena around the world that have attracted the attention of scientists and the general public. These legends, which are derived from human efforts to describe the surrounding environment and express the fear or sense of peace that arises from it, are introduced as an opportunity to empower the geotourism industry and sustainably introduce the geological phenomena of each country and are described in the form of geomythology. In fact, the knowledge of geomythology is a science that examines the descriptions of ancient people of geological events and the geological environment around them. it can be said with certainty that there are many Iranian geomythological narratives that have not been scientifically discussed because these narratives express the long history of ancient societies, reflect the religion and knowledge of the people, and recount geological events that they need more attention. From the logical adaptation of stories and myths with the facts and data of ancient geography and geology, acceptable scientific results can be achieved because geomythology is a paleontological method for understanding ancient environments. The Stars Valley is one of the mysterious regions of Iran that has been the subject of various legends and stories, and has attracted the attention of geologists and tourists due to the existence of extraordinary erosion phenomena. This area can have an important place in narrative studies in the geological context of Iran.
