چکیده مقاله:
The sustainable development and reliability of the power industry heavily rely on the effective recruitment and retention of skilled professionals. In Iran, the electric power sector faces increasing challenges in attracting and maintaining a competent technical workforce due to factors such as aging personnel, brain drain, inadequate incentive structures, and limited career development opportunities. This paper aims to diagnose the current recruitment and retention mechanisms within Iran's power sector, identify systemic inefficiencies, and analyze their root causes. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach including surveys, expert interviews, and case studies from regional electricity companies this study provides a comprehensive evaluation of human resource strategies. The findings reveal critical gaps in strategic workforce planning and underscore the need for policy reform, modernization of HR practices, and alignment of organizational culture with the expectations of new generations of professionals. Recommendations are proposed to enhance talent acquisition and long-term workforce stability in the evolving landscape of the Iranian power industry.
