چکیده مقاله:

A metamaterial is a type of specially engineered material that is artificially created. This structure has properties that are not found in natural media, such as negative permittivity and negative permeability. The main advantage of these materials is that they have a negative refractive index(NRI). Negative Index Metamaterials (NIMs) that are also called Left Handed Materials (LHMs). This means that when a wave enters the medium with refractive index n, it bends in the opposite direction away from the normal line. The described properties are used in designing antennas with ultrawide bandwidth, high gain, and compact electrical dimensions. Modern wireless mobile communication systems use ۵G technology and multi-input multi-output (MIMO) antennas, which are based on ultrawide bandwidth and high-frequency transmission. This paper presents a theoretical equation for an artificial material, and a unit cell of a metamaterial for the K-band is proposed. The suggested structures can be useful, and the results are validated through simulation.
