Employing Large Eddy Breakup Units (LEBUS) is a common and traditional technique in the context of flow control to diminish skin friction drag and noise. These devices disrupt the flow, altering the turbulence structure and reducing the energy in large-scale turbulent eddies, thereby lowering skin friction drag. In this research, two different configurations of single and double units over a flat plate are investigated, and reductions in skin friction and pressure fluctuations are observed compared to the baseline of no LEBU in the flow domain. The type of LEBUS used is the flat plate type. The investigation has been performed using Fluent commercial software and Large Eddy Simulation (LES).
