The mining extraction process, as one of the key pillars of the mining industry, plays a fundamental role in optimizing the productivity and profitability of mining projects. This research focuses on modeling and optimizing this process using Datamine software and NPV Scheduler. The Lerchs-Grossmann algorithm has been selected as the primary tool for optimizing block extraction in the mine's block model. The aim of this study is to reduce extraction and mine rehabilitation costs to facilitate managerial decision-making in mining projects. In this research, the MadAbad mine, which is an open-pit mine, has been selected as the case study, and its geological characteristics and mineral reserves have been thoroughly examined. In this mine, celestite and limestone are extracted as the mineral and waste, respectively. The collected data, using specialized software and mining engineering methods, has led to the creation of three-dimensional models of the mineral reserves. Subsequently, using optimization algorithms, the extraction process and resource distribution were comprehensively analyzed. The results of this study indicate the possibility of a ۱۵% increase in revenue from extraction through the application of optimization methods. This research is introduced as an effective model for other similar mines in the country and can contribute to improving mining processes and increasing profitability in the industry. Overall, this study presents innovative solutions for the optimal management of mineral resources and can serve as a reliable reference in this field.
