چکیده مقاله:

Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) is a common childhood mental health condition characterized by a persistent pattern of angry/irritable mood, argumentative/defiant behavior, and vindictiveness. These behaviors can significantly impair a child's social, academic, and family functioning. Traditional treatments for ODD often involve parent management training and individual therapy, but their effectiveness can vary, especially with younger children who may struggle with direct verbal communication. Cognitive-Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT) integrates the principles of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with the engaging and developmentally appropriate medium of play. This paper presents a study investigating the efficacy of CBPT in reducing behavioral problems in children with ODD. We hypothesize that a structured CBPT intervention will lead to significant reductions in ODD symptoms, as measured by standardized rating scales completed by parents and teachers.
