In recent decades, technology has become an indispensable component of modern education, reshaping how teachers deliver content and how students engage with learning materials. Within the field of English Language Teaching (ELT), technological integration has opened new possibilities for enhancing communication, interaction, and learner autonomy. The purpose of this paper is to explore how the effective use of technology supports English language acquisition and improves teaching efficiency in diverse educational settings. The discussion focuses on digital tools such as multimedia applications, online collaboration platforms, mobile-assisted language learning (MALL), and artificial intelligence (AI)-based systems. The integration of technology in ELT not only facilitates exposure to authentic materials but also promotes student motivation and engagement through interactive and personalized learning experiences. However, despite its potential benefits, the implementation of technology faces challenges such as digital inequality, teacher preparedness, and pedagogical alignment. This study underscores that successful technology integration requires more than access to digital tools; it depends on the teacher’s ability to blend technological innovation with sound pedagogical principles. Consequently, English teachers must develop both technical competence and pedagogical flexibility to design meaningful, communicative, and learner-centered environments that prepare students for participation in a digitalized global society.Keywords: Technology integration, English language teaching, digital learning, MALL, learner autonomy
