Evaluation and comparison of inhibitory effect of quercetin on urease enzyme in free state and in payloaded state on graphene oxide: experimental and computational study

Helicobacter pylori is a widespread bacterial infection that produces urease to survive in acidic environments. Antibiotic resistance is increasing, prompting interest in urease inhibitors. Quercetin can inhibit urease but has low water solubility. Nanocarriers like graphene oxide are proposed to enhance quercetin's effectiveness in treating this infection.
