چکیده مقاله:

Diclofenac (DCF) is a synthetic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is a persistent chemical that resists biological degradation and is difficult to completely remove by conventional wastewater treatment plants. In recent years, various advantage oxidation processes (AOPs), including photocatalytic processes such as the nano catalyst/UV process, have been applied for DCF treatment in wastewater. In this study, photocatalytic ozonation process was used. ZnO was employed as a photocatalyst. The effect of operational parameters such as pH of solution, entrancing ozone flow rate, photocatalyst concentration and initial concentration of contaminant on degradation efficiency of diclofenac medicinal contaminant was studied. The results showed that the photocatalytic ozonation process has had the maximum performance under the conditions of pH of ۷, entrancing ozone flow rate of ۳ L/h, contaminant concentration of ۱۰ mg/L and catalyst concentration of ۰.۲ g/L.
