چکیده مقاله:

The reduction of ۴-nitrophenol is significant because it converts a toxic pollutant into a less harmful compound, thereby aiding in environmental detoxification and water purification. Using Ni NPs enhances this reaction due to their high catalytic activity, electrical conductivity, and ability to facilitate electron transfer, making the process more efficient and sustainable. This study reports the synthesis of nickel nanoparticles (Ni NPs) impregnated within a magnetic UiO-۶۶ metal-organic framework (MOF) for applications in catalytic reduction of nitrophenols. The Ni NPs were incorporated into the magnetic UiO-۶۶ via a wet impregnation method, resulting in a composite with enhanced catalytic activity. Structural characterization confirmed the successful integration of Ni NPs and magnetic functionality. The catalytic performance of the composite was evaluated in the reduction of nitrophenol, demonstrating high efficiency, reusability, and potential for environmental remediation. These findings suggest that Ni NPs-impregnated magnetic UiO-۶۶ is a promising catalyst for pollutant reduction processes.
