چکیده مقاله:

The rise of the gig economy has significantly reshaped the way organizations approach Human Resource Management (HRM). Characterized by flexible, short-term, and project-based work facilitated through digital platforms, the gig economy challenges traditional employment models. This paper explores how HRM functions such as recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, and compensation are being redefined in response to the growing reliance on gig workers. The study highlights both opportunities—such as cost efficiency, access to a diverse talent pool, and organizational flexibility-and challenges, including legal compliance, worker classification, job security, and the need for new performance evaluation systems. The findings suggest that HRM in the gig economy must adopt a more adaptive, technology-driven, and compliance-oriented approach, shifting from long-term employee development to transactional and algorithmically mediated workforce management.
