چکیده مقاله:
The current research aims to investigate the effect of family-based flortime play therapy on parental competence and stereotyped behaviors of children with autism aged ۳ to ۶ years in Isfahan city. The research method was semi-experimental in the form of pre-test-post-test with a control group, and the statistical population included all mothers with children with autistic disorder aged ۳-۶ years, whose children were being trained in the educational-rehabilitation center for autism spectrum disorder in Isra in ۱۴۰۳. and based on the criteria of the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and the Gars ۲ diagnostic test, they were diagnosed with autism and had a file in the center. In this research, the purposeful sampling method was used and ۳۰ people were selected and randomly replaced in the experimental and control groups. The instruments used in the research were the Guibaud-Walston and Wandersman (۱۹۸۹) Parenting Competence Questionnaire and the Budfish et al. (۲۰۰۰) Children's Stereotypical Behavior Questionnaire. After the pre-test, the participants in the experimental group were trained in flortime therapy in ۱۰ ۶۰-minute sessions. Then both groups were re-evaluated through tests; The results were analyzed by spss software and multivariate covariance analysis method. The results showed that Flortime play therapy had an effect on parenting competence and its components, as well as stereotypical behaviors of children with autism spectrum disorder and its components (P<۰.۰۵).
