چکیده مقاله:
The present study investigates the impact of awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) on employee turnover, mediated by emotional exhaustion and depression, with perceived organizational support as a moderating factor. This applied, descriptive-correlational study targeted a population of ۶۰۰ employees from the Yazd Broadcasting Organization. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, yielding ۲۳۰ complete responses. The research instruments were standardized Likert-scale questionnaires measuring AI awareness, emotional exhaustion, depression, perceived organizational support, and turnover intention. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling in PLS software and bootstrapping tests. The findings revealed that AI awareness has a significant positive relationship with emotional exhaustion. Emotional exhaustion, in turn, showed a significant positive relationship with employee depression. Perceived organizational support had a significant inverse relationship with turnover intention but did not moderate the relationship between emotional exhaustion and depression. Emotional exhaustion independently mediated the relationships between AI awareness and depression, as well as between AI awareness and turnover intention. Additionally, emotional exhaustion and depression sequentially mediated the relationship between AI awareness and turnover intention. These results highlight the significant impact of AI awareness on employees' mental health and job-related behaviors, emphasizing the importance of stress management and organizational support in workplace settings.
