The effect of green management on economic growth

The depletion of fossil fuel reserves and the increase in global temperatures have increased the need for environmental management (Green Growth, Resources, Resilience and Environmental Sustainability in Asia, ۷۳۲). The excessive consumption of fossil fuels has led to numerous reactions from political decision-makers (Pourasghar Sangachin et al., ۷۳۲). Iran, as one of the countries with high energy consumption, faces significant problems in the field of greenhouse gas emissions (Energy Balance Sheet, ۱۹۹۱). Various studies show a positive and significant correlation between renewable energy consumption and economic growth (Feng, ۲۰۱۰; Tiwari, ۲۰۱۰; Pao and Fu, ۲۰۱۷; Sabri and Ben Salah, ۲۰۱۷). Investing in renewable energy, in addition to creating job opportunities and reducing environmental pollution, can contribute significantly to the sustainable development of the country. Ultimately, it is necessary for political decision-makers to create the conditions for investment in renewable energy by formulating appropriate policies.
