چکیده مقاله:
Adolescence is a critical developmental period marked by rising health risks such as obesity, depression, and risky behaviors, underscoring the need for effective, scalable prevention strategies. Web-based health interventions have emerged as promising tools, and their integration with artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to personalize and enhance adolescent health support. This narrative review examined ۱۴ peer-reviewed studies (۲۰۱۹–۲۰۲۵) exploring AI-enhanced digital interventions targeting adolescents (aged ۱۰–۲۴). Data were systematically extracted on intervention characteristics, implementation challenges, strategies, and outcomes. AI applications—especially chatbots, recommender systems, and adaptive learning—were associated with improved user engagement and behavioral outcomes. However, concerns related to data privacy, ethical oversight, algorithmic bias, and content safety were prominent, particularly in sensitive areas like mental and sexual health. Limited digital access and low engagement in certain subpopulations were also noted. Strategic recommendations include adolescent-centered co-design, ethical guidelines, human-AI hybrid models, and alignment with existing health systems. The review highlights the potential of AI to enhance adolescent health interventions but emphasizes the need for longitudinal research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and robust safeguards. To realize the full benefits of AI, future innovations must balance personalization, safety, and inclusivity while maintaining adolescents’ trust and well-being.
