چکیده مقاله:

Greek mythology was a belief system and the primary language of art in one of history's most significant civilizations. This paper examines the diverse influences of the gods on ancient Greek visual arts, particularly focusing on sculpture, painting, ceramics, mosaics, and theater, while recognizing architecture as the ceremonial framework for artworks. Ten important case studies that show how divine iconography combined technical skill with symbolic depth are looked at in great detail. The Greek gods were powerful beings that shaped the style of Western art, from Phidias's huge Athena Parthenos to the pebble mosaics of Pella. This study demonstrates that Greek art constituted a continuous dialogue between mortals and immortals, which persists in relevance today, utilizing ancient literary references, archaeological findings, and modern academic research.
