چکیده مقاله:

The application of nanoparticles in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) processes is one of the most widely used methods in recent studies by researchers. In this study, in order to stabilize the suspension of synthesized nanoparticles in water as solvent, Various Fe۲O۳ nanostructures were synthesized in the octylmethylimidazolium bromide ionic liquid. The effect of the ionic liquid and experimental conditions on the morphology and size of the synthesized particles were investigated by X-ray diffractometry (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the use of ionic liquid in different experimental conditions changes the particle size and creates different morphology.. Also, following the test results of zeta potential, modification has increased the surface charge of nanoparticles and as a result has led to the stability of nanoparticles in water. Also, to study the effect of the presence of nanoparticles in the injected fluid in the EOR process, flooding experiments were performed in micromodel. The oil recovery factor in the presence of nanoparticles increased from ۱۹.۸% for water flood to ۳۱.۲% for modified iron oxide nanoparticles, which shows an increase of ۱۱.۴%.
