چکیده مقاله:
Osteoarthritis (OA) is characterized as a condition where the articular cartilage undergoes degeneration along with lesions in the subchondral bone. People with knee osteoarthritis frequently experience joint pain, rigidity, inflammation, compromised proprioception, limitations in physical function and a ۴۰% reduction in quadriceps strength. Numerous clinical methods have been suggested to help mitigate the symptoms experienced by individuals with knee osteoarthritis (OA), such as surgical interventions, pharmaceutical treatments, and physical activities. Various effective exercises include straight leg raises, static bicycles, kinesio taping with quadriceps exercises, isometric training, whole-body vibration, isokinetic exercises, and resistance training. Strengthening exercises are vital for improving muscle support around the knee, reducing pain, and enhancing function, making them a key component in knee OA management.
