چکیده مقاله:

This paper presents a comprehensive review of skin-type temperature transmitters, with a focus on their applications in industrial environments, particularly within DCS (Electrostatic Discharge) cabinets. Skin-type transmitters, which measure temperature by surface contact rather than insertion, offer a non-intrusive and cost-effective solution for monitoring critical equipment. The review discusses their operating principles, installation methods, advantages, and limitations compared to traditional sensing techniques. Special attention is given to their role in enhancing passive defense strategies, including protection against equipment overheating and potential cyber-physical threats. The paper also explores recent developments and challenges in integrating these transmitters into modern industrial control systems.
