This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between Islamic work ethics and job engagement of employees with regard to the moderating role of organizational virtue. The statistical population of the study is ۷۸۰ employees of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, from whom ۱۹۵ people were selected as a sample using the Cochran formula using a simple random sampling method. The research method is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlation in terms of implementation method. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Islamic work ethics were measured by Ali et al.'s (۲۰۰۱) questionnaire, which included positive attitudes towards work, conscientiousness and responsibility, attention to the growth of others and the welfare of society, and employee job involvement by the questionnaire presented by Sheffley and Baker (۲۰۰۶) including passion, vitality and dedication, and organizational virtue by Cameron's (۲۰۰۴) questionnaire, which included organizational optimism, organizational trust, organizational compassion, organizational integrity and forgiveness. In this study, descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used to analyze the data. First, to analyze the demographic characteristics of the sample, descriptive statistical parameters including frequency tables and graphs, mean, standard deviation were used in the section to test the research hypotheses to analyze the relationship between variables and the moderating role of organizational virtue using Amos software. First, the normality of the data was ensured, and then the data were analyzed using statistical tests and structural equations. The results of the study indicate the effect of Islamic work ethics and its components on employee job engagement and also the lack of effect of the moderating role of organizational virtue in the relationship between Islamic work ethics and employee job engagement, and in other cases, no significant relationship was observed between the variables.
