The effect of intellectual property rights on Iran's membership in the World Trade Organization

The most important global institution that will play an important role in trade rules and regulations in various countries of the world is the World Trade Organization. This organization also considers and includes rights arising from material and intellectual property, and most domestic laws in this field affect the domestic laws of different countries, and the acceptance of these rules by different countries can have positive or negative consequences, and each of the aforementioned effects leads to the adoption of favorable and unfavorable approaches in this field. In this regard, this study analyzes the effect of intellectual property rights on Iran's membership in the World Trade Organization and Iran's membership in the World Trade Organization in a descriptive-analytical manner. Also, this research question is; What is the effect of intellectual property rights on Iran's membership in the World Trade Organization by Iran and its membership in the World Trade Organization? In this research, using a descriptive-analytical method, it is determined what are the meanings and components of intellectual property rights? What is the history of intellectual property rights and its effect in various countries and global organizations? And finally, what are the effects of intellectual property rights on Iran's membership in the World Trade Organization? The results of the research show that in order to take steps towards success in global competition, we must accept intellectual property rights as a principle and follow it.
