چکیده مقاله:
Governments have made efforts to present a praiseworthy and desirable image of themselves to others in order to achieve political and cultural goals, and colonialism has used this image to expand its global scope, especially through the cultural invasion of developing countries. It has penetrated literature, whether poetry or prose, as a result of its influence on society and its impact on it and the performance of its social function. Bayram Al-Tunsi is considered one of the contemporary poets who lived in occupied Arab lands and fought with his pen against the occupiers. The main meaning of his poems is an attempt to depict the conflict taking place in the occupied Arab lands between the British, the Israelis and the West on the one hand and the Arab Egyptian nation in particular on the other hand. He was interested in foreign Western characters as one side of the conflict and the element that occupies the Arab homeland (the ego) and practices violence and oppression against it. Since it is an important element in these poems in particular and in the conflict taking place in the occupied Arab lands in general, it was chosen to study its image in this article. the poetry of Beram El-Tunisi based on the descriptive-that the poet painted a negative image of the other such as colonialism that occupied the country, humiliated the peoples, plundered their wealth, supported Zionism, cultural invasion, imposed agent rulers on them, conspiracy, treachery and betrayal, interference in the country's affairs and similar crimes.
