Task-based and play-based vocabulary instruction provides an interactive and learner-centered approach that not only enhances students’ motivation and long-term retention of new words, but also creates a meaningful bridge between formal school contexts and private language centers, fostering continuity, engagement, and authentic communication in vocabulary learning.
