چکیده مقاله:
The integration of nanotechnology into alkali-activated concretes represents a transformative frontier in sustainable construction, yet its realization is impeded by multifaceted challenges spanning scientific, industrial, and sociopolitical domains. This comprehensive analysis elucidates the principal barriers to adoption, from nanomaterial synthesis and dispersion complexities to unresolved durability concerns under environmental stressors. Economic viability remains constrained by high production costs and scalability limitations, while environmental uncertainties persist regarding nanoparticle ecotoxicity and lifecycle impacts. Regulatory fragmentation and standardization gaps further hinder commercialization, exacerbating industry reluctance despite demonstrated performance enhancements. Sociocultural resistance, rooted in risk aversion and misinformation, compounds these challenges, demanding coordinated strategies to bridge the innovation-adoption divide. The path forward necessitates interdisciplinary collaboration to harmonize material innovation with industrial pragmatism, environmental stewardship, and global policy alignment. Without systemic solutions addressing these interconnected barriers, nano-concretes risk remaining a laboratory curiosity rather than a revolution in sustainable infrastructure.
