This investigation examines the influence of incorporating nanoparticles on the properties of concrete, with a particular focus on the role of graphene-based materials. Given the challenges associated with achieving uniform dispersion of graphene, graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets were synthesized from graphite flakes utilizing a modified Hummers method. These nanosheets were subsequently dispersed within the concrete matrix and thermally reduced to graphene through a controlled heating process. The experimental framework employed a series of concrete mix designs, incorporating GO nanofillers, which were subjected to both standard curing conditions and autoclaved environments to evaluate their performance under varying conditions. The findings reveal a marked enhancement in the mechanical properties of concrete, particularly in samples containing graphene oxide that were cured in an autoclaved environment.
