Evaluation of the dynamic stochastic project management in resource constrained project teams using the Finite Task method

In the context of resource-constrained environments, this paper proposes a method that describes project work based on a Finite Task description. For this purpose, the Finite Task Method (FTM) is introduced, which allows different configurations of project work with resource constraints to be analyzed using matrix-based project descriptions based on an explicit problem-solving strategy. This paper aims to apply the FTM to evaluate project performance and resource consumption. Instead, a case study is used to show how differences in  Project Management (PM) approaches, such as traditional and agile PM, can be evaluated.
